Consent to Recording

Thine requires your explicit consent before recording audio. You control when recording starts, stops, or pauses. You can delete your data and opt out of model training at any time. We follow de-identification practices and address bystander consent requirements that vary by state.

Information We Collect

We collect account and contact information (name, email, phone, password hash, preferences), payment metadata via processors, support communications, audio recordings and transcripts, speaker recognition data (with consent), Google Calendar and Gmail integration data, device and usage data, and essential cookies.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve our services, enable always-on listening (if enabled), power LLM chat features, perform speaker recognition, operate integrations, and maintain security and compliance. We prohibit model training without your consent and delete LLM chat data within 30 days.

Model Training

Model training is opt-in only. You can opt out at any time through Settings → Privacy or by emailing .

Cloud Storage & Security

Data is stored on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in the United States with encryption in transit and at rest. We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including role-based access and regular security testing.

Data Sharing

We share data with service providers (GCP, analytics, support, payments) bound by contract, and AI/LLM providers for transcription and summarization (no training). We may share in corporate transactions, for legal/safety requirements, or at your direction. We never sell your data for cross-context advertising.

Your Rights & Controls

You can delete audio and transcripts at any time, delete your account through Settings or , withdraw consent, manage marketing preferences, control cookies and analytics, and disconnect integrations. U.S. state privacy rights (CA, VA, CO, CT, UT, OR, TX) include access, deletion, correction, and portability.

Our services are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not intentionally collect data from minors. If you believe a child has provided data, contact .
